Dr. Michael Malenbaum is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He received his PhD in Economics from the CUNY Graduate Center in 2015.
Dr. Malenbaum teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, money and banking, Federal Reserve policy, and sports economics. He has also served as an undergraduate honors thesis advisor on a variety of topics.
Dr. Malenbaum’s research primarily focuses on international trade, as well as political demographics. His publications include journal articles on exchange rate dynamics and import price responses to fluctuations in currency values.
